Craniosacral Therapy Bend, Oregon
Gentle, Restorative Touch for the Nervous System, Pain Relief, and Deep Healing
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a subtle yet powerful hands-on modality that works with the body’s central nervous system to release deep restrictions, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
At Be Inspired to Grow, I offer craniosacral therapy in Bend, Oregon as part of a holistic, client-centered approach to health and wellness. Whether you’re living with chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, trauma, or simply seeking deeper connection and balance, CST can be a profoundly restorative experience.
What Is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral Therapy is based on the work of osteopathic physician Dr. John Upledger and focuses on the craniosacral system, the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using light touch (often no more than the weight of a nickel), CST practitioners gently assess and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. This helps calm the central nervous system, reduce tension patterns in the body, and support physical, emotional, and energetic healing.
Because of its gentle nature, CST is appropriate for a wide range of conditions and is especially effective when deeper bodywork may not be appropriate or helpful.
Benefits of Craniosacral Therapy
Clients often seek CST for support with:
Chronic stress or nervous system dysregulation
Headaches and migraines
TMJ dysfunction
Post-concussion recovery
Sleep disturbances
Anxiety and emotional regulation
Trauma recovery (including somatic-based healing)
Neck and spinal tension
Fatigue or burnout
General pain patterns not resolved by other modalities
What to Expect in a Session?
A craniosacral therapy session takes place fully clothed in a quiet, calm space. You’ll lie on a massage table while I gently place my hands at various points on the body, including the skull, spine, sacrum, and feet, to assess and support the movement of cerebrospinal fluid and the surrounding tissues.
Most clients enter a state of deep relaxation, often described as “floating,” “drifting,” or “resetting.” There is no manipulation, stretching, or discomfort involved, just quiet, intentional presence and skilled listening to what the body wants to release.
Each session is tailored to your body’s needs that day and may include quiet time afterward to allow integration.
Is Craniosacral Therapy Right for You?
CST is gentle enough for sensitive individuals, including those recovering from illness, injury, trauma, or nervous system overload. It is especially helpful when you feel disconnected from your body or have tried other modalities that haven’t provided relief.
Clients often describe this work as subtle but deeply shifting like helping the body remember how to regulate itself again.
If you’re unsure whether CST is a good fit for you, I offer free 20-minute discovery calls to answer your questions and discuss your specific needs.

“I’ve been seeing Katrin for both medical and exercise recovery-related massage for 7+ years. She is an amazing massage therapist and human being. Her bedside madder is top-notch, and she has a very adaptive approach to each session depending on your needs. She is a master at incorporating intra-session biofeedback and knows my body’s strong and weak points better than myself. I always feel refreshed both physically and mentally after every session.”

“I received a 1-hour massage with Katrin as a gift from my friend for my birthday. It was hands down the best massage I have ever had! I have never had a massage from someone with such a clear understanding of human physiology, and she was even able to give me recommendations for stretches after our session. I will definitely be coming back!”
