Personalized Wellness Assessment

Explore where you are in you personal health and wellness journey. This session is an opportunity for you to discover what you want for yourself. It creates the foundation for our coaching relationship, and allows me to get to know you and your vision for health and well-being.

Group Coaching Sessions

Join our 8-week online live Zoom course, where we will explore different topics with group activities including sleep hygiene, movement and exercise, mindful eating, self-care, managing stress, and creating resiliency. Grow and learn from others looking to improve their health and wellness too.

  • Wellness coaching is neither counseling nor a casual conversation but a behavior methodology. It is a way of working with you that helps you take stock of your wellness, create a vision for your desired lifestyle, design a plan for navigating change, track your progress, and find accountability and support for lasting change.

    As your coach I hold a safe and non-judgmental space for you to show up exactly where you are at. I believe in you and in your ability to grow and learn new habits that support the health and wellness you desire. My job is to listen carefully, help you discover your strengths and resources, offer insight and feedback, brainstorm ideas with you, and support you in creating and living your best life.

  • Counseling:

    Counseling addresses emotional blocks and barriers to moving forward.

    Counseling helps the client address their past so that they can move forward and create a better future.

    Counseling is very directive and often entails a diagnosis.

    Coaching:

    Coaching is a client-centered process which supports and empowers the client to achieve self-determined goals related to health and wellness.

    Coaching works as a powerful partnership between client and coach. The coach sees views the client as capable and whole and is their ally in the change process.

    Note: Sometimes it can be very beneficial for a client to do both counseling and coaching to help heal the past and move forward with new habits and behaviors that support greater health and well-being.

  • Improving eating habits, exploring movement and exercise, weight loss, sleep habits, managing stress and anxiety, creating better self-care habits, developing supportive relationships with oneself and others, living with purpose and joy, deepening spiritual practice, and more.

  • It is a fact that creating lasting lifestyle and behavioral change takes time, practice, learning and commitment. Smaller goals may be reached sooner and larger goals will take longer.

    Results can begin to show up after a few coaching sessions, depending on what your goals are.

    I encourage you to consider doing a series of coaching sessions rather than just one or two because long term change requires consistency.

    Having the support of a coach is a powerful way to keep yourself on track toward long term change.

  • Coaching is designed to be supportive, positive, and empathetic. The client is ultimately in the driver's seat of their life and choices. My role is to guide you in the process of connecting with your deeper motivations and reasons for change.

    I am kind, warm, and accepting of where you are at in your process. I listen deeply and explore your thoughts and beliefs with curiosity. I am intuitive and encouraging and believe in your potential to live your best life.

    2. Meeting Location: Coaching can be done in person at my office, or at an agreed upon location such as a coffee shop. It can also be done over video conference or phone. You do not have to live locally in the Portland area to work with me.
